COMPANY PROFILE
The name Medina was chosen in honour of the grand old city of Mdina, which is Malta’s old capital. As Mdina is known for its fortifications, authentic medieval architecture and peaceful environment, here at Medina we aspire that the selected portfolios built for our clients will also stand the test of time whilst offering permanent financial stability through professional management of invested capital.
Mdina is built on solid foundations, surrounded by wide massive bastions which have protected the city for centuries. We believe that our portfolios are similar - built by strong research and historical experience and protected by solid theoretical foundations which will last for many years to come.
Medina's logo is composed of eight large dark blue oval petals, with another eight small light blue petals on the outside. The dark blue petals represent Medina's main objectives, which are: capital protection; adequate returns; risk mitigation; and competitive fee structure, and Medina's core values, namely high ethical standards and integrity; rigorous market research; employee empowerment; and corporate social responsibility. The circle in the centre represents Medina's client-focused philosophy, whilst the light blue petals represent the various investment strategies Medina Asset Management employs.
Blue was chosen for its intrinsic meaning. It is often associated with depth and stability and also symbolises trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, and truth.
